Alaska Outtakes--Pattern experiment 1.
Day 1 in Anchorage. We return to the hotel from our first tour stop, and I produced nothing of interest in three hours. Zero. The seven other photographers seem to be pounding away. They shoot, look at their view screens, move on to the next thing. I feel like I'm playing catchup, but so what if I am, I'll pay attention to what I can control. It's now four hours after starting the Sony shooting--an hour before seeing the ships in the sunset across the Cook Inlet, and two hours before meeting the crab fisherman--I try for a before/after experiment with pattern. I point upward, at the side of our hotel.
