Alaska Outtakes--Starry night 3.
Day 3-1/2, north of Fairbanks. Just before 2 a.m., as our team walks to the shuttle to depart from the hilltop vantage point, we finally see a curtain of light, which lasts only six minutes. Everybody is ready-aim-fire on this one. This skyscape is truly a joy to see, a cherished moment, because it's the first time I've witnessed this.
