Alaska Top Ten--Musher's-eye view.
Day 2 near Talkeetna. At Dallas Seavey's kennel, home of the Iditarod-winning team, Andrew gains sled-dog-racing experience from one of the best. He and two other guides give us a ride for a few miles around a vale with occasional views of Mt. McKinley. The dogs are fidgety when still, quiet and composed when moving. It is warm today, maybe near 30 degrees, so he occasionally stops to let the team cool down. Time for a portrait.
